FAQ


Q. What is a Wine and Canvas event like?

A. A fun, social, group setting, with an artist to guide you step by step in replicating the nights featured painting. By the end of the evening you will create a fabulous piece of artwork! The event times vary but we suggest arriving 30 minutes early to get the seat of your choice. Events are 2 1/2 – 3 hours with frequent breaks. 




Q. Do I need to sign up in advance?

A. We recommend signing up in advance because of limited seating, most of our events will sell out. You can register on the website or give us a call and we will be happy to walk you through the registration process. 




Q. What is the cost of a Wine and Canvas event?

A. The prices range between $35-$45 depending on the night and painting. Fundraisers are usually a little more.




Q. What is included in the price?

A. We provide the Artist, Canvas, Paint, Brushes, Easels, and Aprons. 




Q. What do I wear?

A. We provide aprons, but you may want to wear something you wouldn't mind getting paint on-- just in case! 




Q. What time do I need to arrive for an event?

A. We recommend arriving 30 minutes early to get signed and seated.




Q. Are any events BYOB (bring your own bottle)?

A. No, none of the Indiana, Ohio, Nevada or California events are BYOB. Unfortunately it is illegal in the state of Indiana, Nevada and Ohio to bring your own alcoholic beverages into any business with the exception of places like Conner Prairie and Verizon Wireless Music Center, which meet State specific open land requirements. The State of California will allow BYOB however, none of our current venues will allow it at this time. All of our venues offer great drink specials including the Wine and Canvas Studios.


Q. What is your cancellation policy?

A. Wine and Canvas is an entertainment event much like a concert, dinner theater or movie theater. We do allow cancelations or reschedules unlike the above but we do require a 48 hour notice. Cancellations should be made via email or by phone. This provides us the opportunity to fill the space. We will provide a full refund or reschedule you with 48 hours notice. We will charge the event fee for reservations not cancelled 48 hours in advance. 




Q. When does the new schedule come out?

A. We try to post the schedule between the 15th and the 20th of the previous month. We are always updating our schedule with new venues, please join our email list to get the new events via email. 




Q. How often will you repeat paintings? I missed one that I really wanted to paint.

A. Please let us know! We will keep this in mind for the next schedule!




Q. Do I need to have a PayPal account to pay for my event?

A. No, once you have clicked the Pay Now button on the Sign Up page, please look on the PayPal page and enter in your payment information instead of logging in.




Q. How many people do I need for a Private Event?

A. We require a 15 person minimum charge for a private event. This does not mean you must have at least 15 people attend! You will be charged for a min of 15 people even if you only have 6 people in your party. We can accommodate up to 80 people at our studio for a private event. We have tables, chairs and easels and can accommodate any number of people in a location of your choosing.


Q. How far will you travel for a Private Event?

A. Wine and Canvas and Cookies and Canvas will Travel! Call us for distance and pricing.


Q. Can I leave my child at a Cookies and Canvas event?

A. Yes and no. It depends on the maturity level of your child and must be over 8 years old. Parents are not required to paint and can enjoy watching their child create.


Q. What are the Cookies and Canvas Private event requirements?

A. We charge a 10 child minimum charge. We can accommodate any amount of children at your location and can accommodate up to 60 children at our studio (have to save a little room for parents!).

Q. What is Open Studio at the Wine and Canvas Studio?

A. Have your own idea for a painting? Open Studio is perfect for you! Pricing for Open Studio is by canvas size 16X20 is $25 and 11X14 is $15 which includes studio time, canvas, use of our aprons, brushes, paints and an easel for each paid painter. No instruction is given during Open Studio but staff is available to answer questions. Painters must be completed by 4pm, no exceptions. We do not supply to-go paint.
